Guantanamera
As I crash a monthly dinner party hosted by my mom and her friends (!) I was especially excited to visit Guantanamera, a Cuban restaurant in Midtown. I LOVE Spanish cuisine of all kinds so this was a no brainer for me. Literally everything from the drinks to the dessert was delicious and the live band was a added bonus. I highly suggest this restaurant for a night out of fabulous food with some fabulous friends.

The Smith has always been on my hit list. After some quick decision making while out shopping one day, I walked into The Smith for dinner at Lincoln Square. The Smith is a place where you can go again and again and never get tired of the food. It is a lively place, and great for any type of occasion. I haven't stopped thinking about The Smith since the night I dined there.

I dined at Barraca with a former work friend. Barraca is known for its paella's and variations of sangrias, so this was obviously a place to catch up on work gossip. The paellas are huge here and it's great that you have the option to mix and match to try different types. I was only a fan of the Mariscos, put I do suggest dining at Barraca for the delicious tapas.

Duck's Eatery
Date night! Ducks Eatery was actually on both mine and my dates go to list. It's a small place amongst many along the restaurant filled block of 12th Avenue. Our favorite dish of the night? The Smoked Mussels were fabulous. Ask for Ducks specials too. The passing bone in short rib for 2 seemed to be a crowd pleaser.
