Dear Summer... I know its only been a few short weeks since you left but.. when will you be back? As we head into fall, I cant help but think of all the great seafood I enjoyed over the summer. Then it struck me.... some of my favorite places are open all year round ! October is National Seafood Month and what better way to celebrate.. wait do we even need a reason to celebrate? No I don't think so. Here are 5 of my favorite seafood restaurants in NYC to eat fab during the fall.
Cajunsea - Louisiana seafood boils and fresh oysters in the heart of Midtown with plastic bibs included! Along with seasonal seafood options, CajunSea is the most wallet friendly lobster you will ever enjoy.
32 W. 33rd Street, New York, N.Y. 10001
IchiUmi - My tried and true Japanese seafood buffet. This mega restaurant has some of the freshest seafood, sushi, sashimi, raw bar, and deliciously prepared food I have ever tasted and you can eat as much as your heart desires! Whats better than that?
6 E. 32nd Street, New York, N.Y. 10016
Lolo's Seafood Shack - Tucked on the corner of 116th street in Harlem you will find Crispy Shark + Bake, conch fritters, and seafood steam pots with ginger butter and scallions. Meet LoLo's Seafood Shack. I visited LoLo's a few months back for some takeout and I was blown away at the flavor and execution of this food.
303 W. 116th Street, New York, N.Y. 10026
Luke's Lobster - Stone Crab without jumping on a plane headed for Miami? Luke's Lobster has us covered here in the Big Apple. Multiple locations means multiple chances to get their signature chunk filled lobster rolls and other rolls packed with fresh crab.
Ed's Lobster Bar - Ed's Lobster Bar in Soho is super sexy for date night with your seafood lover. Sit at the bar and watch a mountain of fresh oysters get shucked or sit at a table and order from one of the great seafood dishes. The lobster is always a top pick here, including the lobster pot pie.
