(in this new section, FAB Lifestyle I talk about my personal likes aside from food, restaurants and cooking, my own twist on a mini-lifestyle blog. Catch new posts every Friday! #fablifestyefridays  )

Since doing the big chop and cutting my hair, its been a major point to keep my face looking fab. My days of hiding behind my hair are long gone, and as my hair cuts get shorter and shorter, this brings major focus and attention to my entire face. As we get older, our skin changes and mine has definitely done a 360. Ive been getting some great compliments on my face lately and along with eating lots of yummy avocados, salmon, (trying) to drink as much water as I can, and popping my omega supplements, the products I use on my face also deserve a round of fabulous applause.

For starters, I personally like facial scrubs, and the Clean and Clear morning burst skin brightening facial scrub has been my go to for a while now. With continual use, this scrub will literally brighten your face and it rinses away smoothly. Point, blank, period...Im in love with Cetaphil. Its one of those facial cleansers that you can use all day everyday and it wont strip your skin. Ive never seen a product with absolutely no bells and whistles do such an amazing job of cleaning your face.

Once a week I squeeze some witch hazel on a cotton ball and wipe my entire face with it. I find this helps remove dirt and oil that I cant see, and for me it has helped keep my skin clear. Its also great for removing eye liner and residual lash glue. Beauty tip!

When Im done washing my face, moisturizer is key! As a woman of color and as a young woman, I want my skin to age gracefully and beautifully. I recently discovered Sephora Instant Moisturizer in a sample packet and fell in love, so I headed to Sephora and bought the jar. It hydrates your face, and also leaves it bright and dewy. Im so glad I tried that little sample pack!

I must admit that when I get home at night, I really don't feel like washing my makeup off but I don't want to sleep in it either. I keep makeup remover wipes around as a quick fix to not sleeping in my makeup. Cheating I know, but at least Im not getting makeup all over my pillow cases!

Lets keep our faces fabulous!
