I must admit fab eaters, that this summer I have not been watching what I eat. Ive had a rough summer, and to coupe I ate...and ate.. and ate fab some more. I was doing so well with my morning smoothies and then I stopped. As fall approaches, I want to get back on my smoothie routine, and to get me back on track, I made this bright purple vanilla, blueberry and blackberry smoothie.

Vanilla Blueberry & Blackberry Smoothie 

frozen blueberries, a small handful
frozen blackberries, a small handful
1/2 banana, sliced 
1/2c. Silk Very Vanilla Soy Milk 
2T. vanilla yogurt 
1T. oat flour ** 
1T. finely ground flax seed 
1/2 t. vanilla extract 

Combine all ingredients in your desired blender and blend on high until smooth or desired consistency. 

** Oatmeal flour - oatmeal flour is quick and easy and also makes your smoothie thick without having to add extra components. To make, pour dry oatmeal ( I use Quaker oats) in a blender or smoothie maker and pulse until oatmeal becomes finely ground or powder like. Place in a air tight container and keep in the fridge.
